Special transport service for the handicapped

Business overview

  • Promotion of mobile convenience for the handicapped with severe disabilities
  • Operation of a call taxi for the handicapped (total of 423 taxis are operated as of today)

Service target

  • The handicapped with grade 1 and 2 physical and brain disorder
  • The grade 1 and 2 handicapped with severe disabilities that use a wheelchair
    ※ The service is available only to those from areas other than Seoul and foreigners who use a wheelchair.

No. of service vehicles : 300 cars

  • Type of vehicle: 9-seater Starex (1 wheelchair seat), installed lift / ramp
  • Function: Call terminal (including GPS system), GPS, TRS unit, taxi meter
  • Hours of operation: 24 hours
  • Daytime - 07:00 ~ 22:00 (15 hours) / Nighttime - 22:00 ~ 07:00 on the next day (9 hours)

Operation principle : Operation in Seoul (able to operate around Seoul)

  • Bucheon-si, Gimpo-si, Yangju-si, Goyang-si, Uijeongbu-si, Namyangju-si, Guri-si, Hanam-si, Seongnam-si, Gwacheon-si, Anyang-si, Gwangmyeong-si, Incheon International Airport
    ※ Departure point must be Seoul. (unable to provide any vehicle if departure point is outside of Seoul)

Service charge

  • Basic fare : 1,500 won for up to 5km (2,400 won for up to 2km when using general taxi)
  • Additional charge : 300 won per km from 5km to 10km, 35 won per km for more than 10km
  • Toll gate fee is charged to the users.

Operation system

  • Departure from each garage → Relay application by the mobile support center → Arrival at the customer requested area → Moving/arrival to destination → Arrival to the garage
